Thank you for your letter dated July 5, 2009 and for the information on the catalyst project and the UK’s new Environmental Technology Best Practice Programme. I plan to introduce these programs, at conferences, and in journals and trade magazines, here in Taiwan. Please inform me of any more recent information.

I am also working on a project that concerns CFC refrigerant recycle/recovery and reuse for air and freezing equipment. I have found two publications which might be very helpful.

Please have someone from DTI send me these two articles. My working group is collecting information for ROC EPA in preparation for new regulations on CFC refrigerant recycle/recovery and reuse for air and freezing equipment. Thanks.

工程計劃目標 A vacuum performance system can be developed based on ISO standards with automatic testing and human-machine interface functions. 達成目標的方法 To do so, pumping performances can be evaluated based on the flow meter method. The flow rate can then be adjusted to obtain a balanced inlet pressure. Next, the pumping speed based on the difference of inlet pressure and ultimate pressure can be divided by the throughput. Additionally, results of the experimental pumping speed can be compared with those of the simulations. 希望的結果 As anticipated, the proposed vacuum performance system can evaluate the throughput, pumping speed, ultimate pressure, and residue gas analysis via its automatic testing and human-machine interface functions in an inlet pressure exceeding 1.3×10-6 Torr. 領域的貢獻 Importantly, the proposed system can provide desired characteristics such as ultimate pressure, compression ratio, and pumping speed, ultimately eliminating the evaluated time and providing human-machine interface functions.
