工程計劃目標 A novel multiplier block algorithm can be developed, capable of minimizing the number of CSAs in a multiplier lock. 達成目標的方法 To do so, the even fundamentals can be eliminated by dividing an appropriate power of two. Even fundamentals must be removed because the multiplier block algorithm considers only odd fundamentals. The fundamentals can then be developed by combining two already realized fundamentals through subexpression sharing. Subexpression sharing thus eliminates redundancies between coefficients in the multiplier block to minimize the number of CSAs. 希望的結果 As anticipated, the proposed multiplier block algorithm is 35% faster than the conventional multiplier block without minimizing the number of adders. Moreover, the proposed algorithm is 15% faster than the conventional multiplier block with a minimum number of CPAs. Compared with the graph representation algorithm, the proposed algorithm can decrease the number of CSAs by 8%. 領域的貢獻 Importantly, the proposed multiplier block algorithm for carry-save adders can eliminate redundancies between coefficients if data is multiplied with multiple coefficients to minimize the number of CSAs. In addition to providing further insight into developing a multiplier block algorithm using CSAs, the proposed scheme can also be easily implemented in high-speed DSP devices.
