At university, Carey was involved with an environmental protection organization for which he attempted to understand how industry adversely impacts the environment, while considering industry to be an extension of science. This experience allowed him to develop a theoretical foundation to balance nature and science. Trying to grasp scientific knowledge in practical contexts is a good form of training. As well as broadening his horizons, these experiences gave Carey a framework for collaborating with others with various backgrounds, thus increasing his confidence in achieving goals by systematically applying knowledge and skills. Developing communication skills was one of the most rewarding experiences of his undergraduate years.

針對公司近況設計 Our senior management recently expressed concern over how to avoid financial loss and ensure product innovation through electronic data protection. 工程計劃建構 Despite increasing security concerns over electronic data and copyright protection, malicious programs such as viruses can easily compromise confidential data stored in computers. Computers store data in unencrypted storage devices, e.g., hard disks, making it easy to read and modify such data. 工程計劃問題 Although numerous software data encryption programs are available, the encryption key is also stored in plan-text on a storage device, further complicating the data retrieval process and leaving the data not entirely protected. 工程計劃問題的量化 For instance, statistics over the past five years indicate that malicious programs and the tampering of confidential data cost enterprises over 75 US billion dollars annually. 工程計劃問題的中心 The inability to resolve this problem will not only to further financial loss, but also to the diminishing of product innovation given the inability to ensure copyright protection of electronic data. 工程計劃需求 Therefore, a tamper-proof scheme with encryption/decryption capabilities must be developed.
